1. YOUR ACCEPTANCE
Meebook respects the applicable copyrights and expects its users to do the same, in accordance with the EU copyright legislation. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Meebook platform. Therefore, read these terms carefully before you start using the service.
By using the service, you are bound by and agree to the terms of this Agreement. If you use Services on behalf of an organization, you agree to these terms for the entire organization and commit the organization to these terms. In this case, “you” and “your” will refer to your organization.
You may only use meebook.org in accordance with the terms of this agreement. Meebook may at any time remove content from the meebook.org website based on a professional and legal assessment.
By using meebook.org, you indicate your agreement with (1) these terms and conditions found at https://meebook.org/terms_conditions/. You are not allowed to access the Meebook platform if you do not declare agreement to all the terms.

Meebook may reserve the right to change or revise the terms, conditions, and policies at any time and you agree to commit to such changes and revisions.
2. MEEBOOK PLATFORM
A. These terms of service apply to all users of Meebooks website (www.meebook.org).
3. MEEBOOK-ACCOUNT
A. To access the features of the website (meebook.org), you must create a Meebook Account. You may never use another party’s account without permission.
B. It is not permitted to create a Meebook account if you are not employed by an institution that has purchased a subscription to Meebook. If in doubt, contact the administration at your workplace before setting up.
C. It is not permitted to create a Meebook account for commercial purposes, such as copying Meebook as a product or copying features or workflow in Meebook.
D. When creating an account, the provided information has to be correct and complete.
E. You are solely and legally liable for all activity carried out on your account. You must use a secure password for your account. You should contact Meebook immediately if you suspect any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
F. Although Meebook cannot be held liable for your loss as a result of any unauthorized use or access of your account, you may be held liable for loss of Meebook or any other party due to such unauthorized use.
G. It is only allowed to create one account per. person. Meebook reserves the right to close an account if there is a suspicion of multiple account creation by the same person.
4. COMMON USE OF SITE PERMISSIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
Meebook hereby grants you permission to access and use the Meebook.org website, provided that:
A. You agree not to distribute any part of the site in any media without prior written permission of Meebook.
B. You agree not to change or modify any part of the Meebook.org website.
C. You agree not to use the website/platform for commercial use without prior written permission of Meebook. Prohibited Commercial Use includes one or more of the following measures taken without the permission of Meebook:
– sale of access to the website/platform.
– sale of content/material generated in Meebook.
D. You agree not to use or start an automated system, including and without limitation “robots”, “spiders” or “offline readers”, which access the website/platform in a manner that sends more requests to Meebook servers in a given period of time than a human being can reasonably produce in the same period using a conventional online web browser. You agree not to collect or harvest any personally identifiable information, including account names, from the website/platform or to use the communication systems from the website (eg comments, email) for commercial advertising purposes. You agree not to seek, for commercial purposes, any users of the website with respect to their user comments.
5. MATERIAL ON MEEBOOK.ORG
A. By using the meebook.org website/platform, you provide us with information and files uploaded to Meebook’s servers. You own the rights to distribute this material in compliance with applicable copyright law, as well as compliance with applicable Copy-Dan rules. The material is not owned by Meebook but by the copyright owners of the material in question.
B. Materials distributed through the meebook.org website/platform may be used for educational purposes only, unless otherwise agreed with Meebook.
C. It is not permitted to distribute pornography, obscene or defamatory material, or material of excessive length. It is at all times Meebook’s assessment that determines whether the material complies with normal teaching-related use.
D. Meebook may at any time remove material uploaded by the user, if the material does not comply with the terms of this agreement. The user will be advised hereby, although an explanation for removal of material cannot be imposed on Meebook.
E. If you are made aware by either Meebook or a third party that material (infringing on you in part (i) downloaded from ShareIT (iii) or shared with you by another user contains material that infringes applicable copyright, you must immediately delete the material from all available themes. You (the user) and not Meebook are responsible for this.
F. If you choose streaming content from other web services (eg YouTube, Vimeo or Soundcloud), it is your responsibility to ensure that this content complies with all copyright laws and regulations. Meebook cannot be held responsible for the distribution of illegal material through these web services.
By sharing themes with other teachers and students, you agree to:
1) the shared teaching themes does not contain material that violates the current Danish legislation on copyright.
2) the shared teaching themes, if it contains scanned material, complies with the applicable rules regarding scanning of physical materials. (www.kopitilundervisning.dk)
3) the colleague who receives the shared teaching theme, is employed by an institution that has entered into an agreement on scanning material with COPY-DAN rules.
4) the available material is in the shared teaching themes lives up to the normal contract terms regarding the use of Meebook’s service.
5) the thmes is shared under the Creative Commons license (Naming – Non-Commercial – Share on the same terms (ShareAlike) (by-nc-sa).
6. TERMINATION POLICY
A. Meebook will terminate a user’s access to the website/platform if the user does not have appropriate behavior and if copyright and user submissions are repeatedly abused.
B. Meebook reserves the right to determine whether content or a user’s conduct is appropriate and in accordance with these terms and conditions for infringements other than copyright infringement, such as, but not limited to, pornography, obscene or defamatory material, or excessive length. Meebook may remove such users without prior notice and at its sole discretion.
7. DIGITAL MILLENNIUM COPYRIGHT ACT
A. If you own the copyright to material and believe a Meebook user is infringing your or anyone else’s copyright, you may submit a review under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
B. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right which is alleged to have been infringed.
8. WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS
You agree that use of the Meebook’s website/platform is at your own risk. Meebook makes no warranties as to the accuracy or completeness of the content of this site or the content of any site linked to this site and assumes no responsibility or liability for errors or inaccuracies in content, personal injury, or property damage, of any kind whatsoever, as a result of your access to and use of Meebook’s website/platform, any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any personal and/or financial information stored therein, (Iv) any interruption or termination of transmission to or from our website/platform, (iv) any bugs, viruses, Trojan horses or the like that may be transmitted to or through our website by any third party, and/or (V) any errors or omissions in any content or for loss or damage of any kind that may arise as a result of the use of any kind of content posted, via email, login, passed on or otherwise made available via the Meebook website/platform.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Meebook, its directors, employees or agents, can under no circumstances be able to direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, WHICH is due to any:
(I) errors, errors or inaccuracies in content, (Ii) personal injury or property damage, by anyone kind at all, as a result of your access to and use of our website/platform, (iii) any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any personal and/or financial information stored therein, (iv) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our website/platform, (iv) any bugs, viruses, trojan horses or similair that may be transmitted to or through our website/platform by any third party, and/or (V) any errors or omissions in any content; or for loss or damage of any kind that may arise as a result of your use of any content posted, via email, login, disclosed or otherwise made available via Meebooks website/platform, whether based on warranty, contract, tort law, or any other legal theory, and whether the company is informed of the possibility of such damages. The above limitation of liability applies to the extent permitted by law in the applicable jurisdiction.
The website/platform is controlled and it is offered by Meebook from its facilities in Denmark. Meebook makes no representations about Meebook being appropriate or available for use elsewhere. Those who access or use the Meebook website/platform from other jurisdictions do so at their own discretion and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
10. INDEMNITY
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold Meebook, its parent company Meebook ApS, directors, employees, and agents, from and against all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, debts, and expenses (including but not limited to attorneys’ fees) arising from: (i) your use of and access to the Meebook website/platform, (ii) your breach of any term of service, (iii) your breach of any third party right, including any copyright, property, or privacy right, or (iv) ) any allegation that one of your users has caused harm to any third party.
11. REQUIREMNETS TO ACCEPT THE TERMS OF SERVICE FOR MEEBOOK.ORG
You confirm your age is above 18 years old and employed/affiliated with an educational institution with legal access to Meebook.org.
12. TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR SHARING TEACHING THEMES IN MEEBOOK IN SHAREIT AND BY SHARING BETWEEN TEACHERS
When you choose to publish a theme in Meebook ShareIT or share themes in other ways and by giving access to your themes to other teachers, you automatically accept the terms described below.
If you choose to use themes shared by others in ShareIT, you also accept the terms described below.
A. Complying with the general conditions of using the Meebook website/platform.
B. The themes published in ShareIT do not contain material that is protected by applicable copyright or licenses that do not entitle you to redistribution and/or sharing. When you use a course either downloaded from ShareIT or shared with you in any other way, the course is covered by the general rules for sharing in Meebook. (read here) As a user, you are responsible for ensuring that the course does not contain material that infringes the other party’s copyrights before you distribute it further. C. The themes you share with teachers at your own institution do not contain material that is protected by applicable copyright, which does not give you the right to redistribution within the institution.
D. The themes you share with teachers in your municipality do not contain material that is protected by applicable copyright, which does not give you the right to redistribution within the municipality.
E. If copyright or other rights have been infringed in a course published by you in ShareIT, you are legally and liable for damages.
F. The themes is published under the Creative Commons license (Naming – Non-Commercial – Share on equal terms (ShareAlike) (by-nc-sa)).
(i) This license permits others to process, including modify and adapt, your work (ii) for a non-commercial purpose (iii) provided that they credit the work in the manner specified by you. (iv) Others can download and share your themes In Meebook, translate, modify and remix based on your work. (v) All new works based on your work must be licensed under an equivalent license, so any processing will also remain non-commercial. (vi) Themes can only be shared under another type of license in ShareIT, by entering into a written agreement between Meebook and the author.
G. If the course contains scanned material, this must not be in breach of the applicable rules regarding the scanning of physical materials, in accordance to: (www.kopitilundervisning.dk)

13. STUDENT OVERVIEWS
Be aware of only writing objectively relevant information for the assessment of the student. The information must be linked to a learning goal.
Avoid writing sensitive personal information about the student.
Remember that the teachers with whom you have shared a year plan & student overview also have access to the student overviews. When you turn on the Year Plan & Student Overview, parents, students, and school management can also see the student overview.
